China's building of its first-ever permanent space station that would operate for at least a decade has entered a key step to complete the in-orbit assembly, after Mengtian lab module was successfully launched into orbit on Monday afternoon. Mengtian (heavenly dreams) will next perform a transposition from Tianhe's forward port to the docking ring on the side, to complete the T-shape basic structure.
