A video of college students in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province making paper dogs in diverse and vivid shapes at school has attracted wide attention from netizens. Some universities have even designed "dog parks" to attract more students to join the "dog walking program."
The "dog walking program" launched by the students at Xi'an Jiaotong University, has attracted dozens of different shapes of puppies to stand on campus. No matter the "Spider Dog" dressed in a Spiderman suit or the "Vegetable Dog" with green skin are all filled with fantastic ideas of their owners.
Another student surnamed Gong from Northwest University, another university in Shaanxi Province, said that her "dog" was made from discarded milk cartons. The activity not only enriches the after-school life, but also brings mental comfort, Gong said, adding that everyone uses discarded cardboard boxes, which can be regarded as the waste utilization.
