The 2022 National Golf Championship successfully concluded at Poly Chongqing Golf Club in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Sunday, with men's team from Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and women's team from Shanghai both claiming the title for the first time in the event's history.
The Xinjiang men's team finished with a total score of 859 (+7) obtaining first place, while men's team Shanghai and team Guangdong won second and third place respectively.
For women's event, Shanghai women's team played well in the final round, overtaking the defending champion, the Tianjin team, with a total score of 857 (-7). Tianjin and Liaoning teams claimed second and third place.
The four-day competition, one of the highest level golf events in the country, was co-sponsored by the China Golf Association and the city's Municipal Bureau of Sports.
