The Stadium 974 for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, also a new landmark in Qatar, was built from 974 shipping containers by Chinese construction companies, making it the first detachable stadzium in World Cup history.

The stadium is close to ports in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, and the containers from the port are one of the most recognizable building materials for construction.

The materials and construction of the stadium adhere to the concept of low-carbon and recyclable. The elevators, shops and even VIP boxes inside the stadium are all converted from shipping containers.

At the same time, as the only stadium without an air conditioning system because of the particularity of construction materials, Stadium 974 can still realize the natural circulation of air through the gaps of the containers, and the sea breeze becomes a natural air conditioner for the stadium.

"Team China didn't make it to the World Cup, but made in China is everywhere," said a Chinese netizen.
