A man in South China's Guangdong Province bought eggs that hatched into dozens of chicks. "I'm so surprised that I didn't expect to get so many chicks for buying eggs," the man said.
In the video, several chicks can be seen twittering among the boxes of eggs. "I bought three baskets of eggs that hatched into chickens, dozens of them in total," he said.
The man made a guess that the surprising change occurred due to the hot weather in Guangdong and the fact that he had left the eggs at home for five or six days.
"Buying eggs but getting dozens of chicks in the end, what a nice deal!" said a netizen on the Chinese social media platform Sina Weibo.
"Am I the only one who admires the warm weather there? It's really cold in the north right now," another netizen from Beijing wrote in comment.
Weather forecast of the Guangdong Province shows that temperatures of many places in the province could even reach 30 C in recent days, in sharp contrast to the freezing temperatures in the north part of the country.
