A cave photographer from Southwest China's Guizhou Province has been exploring the cavern in the province for nine years, using more than 10,000 photos and more than 1,000 minutes of video to tell the story of the "cave kingdom."

Zhou Yuanjie, a cave photographer, was introduced to spelunking nine years ago while during an interview as a photographer. "I was covering a rescue scene, and it was amazing to watch the rescuers go into a deep cave," he said.

Zhou said that he was deeply shocked by the beauty of caves, and he spent a lot of time studying how to do spelunking and related photography in order to better present this wonderful view.

As an area in China and even the world with extensive development of karst landforms, Guizhou Province's underground rivers, underground lakes, stalactites and other underground karst forms constitute a well-developed karst cave system with various types and strange shapes.
