New energy products including household solar heating tools account for three of the top 10 best selling goods from China, according to an industry data released on Monday, highlighting the rapid response of China's industry chain to overseas market demand.
Household solar heating tools, charging piles and electric bicycles were among the items featured on the list, according to cross-border e-commerce platform Alibaba.com on Monday, adding that new energy products which are made domestically have maintained triple-digit growth for three consecutive years.
Household solar heating tools are now popular in European markets driven by soaring energy prices, and government subsidies.
The sales of domestic electric water heaters, electric heaters surged on the platform in the first three quarters of this year, a d the sales of electric blankets increased by nearly fivefold, with domestic electric bicycles and new energy wall-mounted charging piles also witnessing explosive growth.
