A photo of a company in Southwest China's Guizhou Province setting up several "temporary crying spots" for its employees recently sparked heated debate on Weibo, Chinese Twitter-like social media platform. On Monday, the staff members of the company responded that it was an activity planned by a company department, rather than a policy. Comments on the company's "temporary crying spots" are mixed, with some saying that it is really comforting to have a place to vent emotions while others questioning whether the company employees were under too much pressure at work.

Due to the high attention, the publisher of the photo took to social media to explain.

"The company is very nice, and the boss is very kind, so it is just a site for employees to decompress and rest. At first, I just thought this meme was funny, but later I chose to publish it because I wanted more enterprises to pay attention to ordinary employees and give them more care," he said.
