Recently, a "cash rain" suddenly began to fall in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province. A large number of hundred-yuan notes fell from the sky and fell on the road in the community. Residents and property management staff quickly chased the wind to find the falling money, and after nearly half an hour of hard work, they recovered more than 100,000 yuan ($14,457) in cash.

According to the police officer, an old lady surnamed Han, who lives on the 8th floor of the building, was drying her duvet on the balcony when she accidentally dropped the cash, which spilled all over the floor.

"As soon as I got to the building, I saw a lot of cash on the ground and two residents were picking up the money for the old woman," chief of the security forces said. He quickly crouched down to help pick the money up.

After nearly half an hour of careful search, no more cash was found at the scene.

According to Han's request, the security guard took her to the property of the community to check.

Under the witness of the community police, all 104,400 yuan of cash was handed back to the old woman.

A property management staff member carefully checked the monitoring in the process, although there are many residents passing through, no one had taken away the money. "We would like to thank the residents for their cooperation and support," he said.
