Writers in the literary industry bear the responsibility of presenting the true side of China's industrial history. Recently, industrial novelist Zou Yuanhui held a readers' meeting in Beijing to share his newly published novel Qi Hang, or Set to Sail. As a worker in a state-owned enterprise and writer with more than 20 years' experience, Zou has long been engaged in the creation of long historical novels on industrial development themes.

"I firmly believe in the power of realism. Industrial literature has never been a topic that is absent in any times," Zou Yuanhui said at the reading. "As long as we [industrial writers] keep telling a good story about China's industrialization, our voices will be heard and our works will be read by more and more audiences."
