A forum on the development of Chinese classical arts and digital art was launched on May 25 at the Beijing Guardian Art Center, where an exhibition of digital artworks featuring Tang and Song classics is currently being held.

The revitalization of Chinese history, the promotion of Chinese classics, the creation of Chinese IP, and the telling of Chinese stories have been widely discussed in recent years.

They are among the core value drivers for related industries such as cultural tourism.

This exhibition, which is curated by Jin Jun and co-organized by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Guardian Art Center, presents more than a dozen large-scale original digital artworks and scientific research achievements related to Tang and Song classics.

Taking the opportunity of the exhibition, topics including Chinese classic IP creation and the healthy development of the industry ecosystem were discussed at the forum.

Ling Ming, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, introduced the bureau's efforts in recent years in the fields of digital culture and social aesthetic education.

The aesthetics of the Song Dynasty, which are expected to be used in transforming classic art and the IP value of the Song Dynasty into a modern life experience through technology, were also emphasized at the forum.
