Japan's reckless dumping of nuke wastewater

Despite strong opposition from neighboring countries, Japan started to test the facilities to dump the nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the destroyed Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on Monday. Japanese government claimed that the radioactive wastewater would be safe after treatment. However, they apparently failed to convince the public given the continuous reports of excessive radioactive elements being tested in water samples and seafood collected near the plant.
