Jointly organized by Hebei University of Science and Technology (HEBUST) and the Shijiazhuang Western Returned Scholars Association, the 2023 International Forum on Chinese Culture and its Foreign Communication was held in Shijiazhuang, the capital of North China's Hebei Province, on Monday and Tuesday.
Nearly 200 experts and scholars from home and abroad who are engaged in studying Chinese culture gathered together to exchange views on the theme of "exploring the experience and communication methods of Chinese culture and its interaction with the world in the context of the new era of the internet."
During the event, five parallel forums and one roundtable were held, with topics ranging from research on Chinese cultural communication theory to the cultivation of talents in international Chinese language teaching.
Participants shared their views on how to enhance the influence of Chinese civilization in order to tell China's stories and better spread China's voice, how to present a credible, lovely and respectable image of China and to promote Chinese culture to the world.
