 On August 21, the press conference for the 2023 China (Arxan) Tourism Conference was held in Beijing. During the conference, it was announced that from September 2 to 3, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Xinhua News Agency, and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region would jointly host the 2023 China (Arxan) Tourism Conference in Arxan City, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The event aims to invite visitors from all over to explore the beauty of Arxan in all four seasons and enjoy a "cultural and tourism feast" together.

The press conference was chaired by Zhang Xuxia, spokesperson and Deputy Director of the General Office, Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Attendees included Wu Kefeng, Deputy Director of the Resource Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Liu Xuekui, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua Daily Telegraph, Qin Yan, Director of the Cultural and Tourism Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Wang Xiaohuan, Mayor of Arxan City, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. They answered questions from journalists.

This tourism conference has been carefully planned and is full of creative ideas. The press conference used the concept of "13449" to introduce the novelty features of the event. The number refers to 1 opening ceremony, 3 forums including "Tourism Promoting Rural Revitalization and Common Prosperity," and 4 unveiled themes- the awarding of national-level tourism brands, the "Designing for Villages" initiative, Arxan cultural and tourism promotional videos, and the "China Road - Top 10 Boutique Road Trip Routes." There are also 4 distinctive activities: Thousands of Vehicles and People Crossing the Great Xing'an Mountains Road Trip, the Xikou Village Arts Festival, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage + Tourism" exhibition, and the tourism and vacation product experience. Additionally, there are 9 series of events including the "Water Rhythm Arxan" fireworks and music evening, Leave-No-Trace Camping Conference, Forest Music Festival, the China-Russia-Mongolia Food Festival, Craft Beer Festival, Float Parade, and Trendy Market.

The conference aims to enhance quality, expand capacity, enrich offerings, and foster diverse forms of tourism. It strives to establish Inner Mongolia as a preferred destination for nationwide tourists for road trips and camping, making it an essential choice for holiday travel, and an optimal choice for health and wellness tourism. 

To ensure the success of the conference, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has proposed 24 security projects, 13 service measures and formulated 8 service support plans.
