In a surprising turn of events, a man from Central China's Henan Province who purchased a lottery ticket, won a staggering prize of 10.09 million yuan. However, he faced an unexpected obstacle before claiming his winnings as the winning ticket got stuck to his mobile phone case.

The man surnamed as Li bought the lottery ticket on August 16 and discovered his win that evening. Overwhelmed with great joy, he placed the winning ticket inside his mobile phone case, intending to redeem it at the lottery center on Monday.

Unfortunately, due to the humid weather, the ticket and the phone case became stuck together, making it impossible to remove. Li grew anxious, fearing that he might miss out on the multimillion-dollar prize. However, with the assistance of the lottery center staff, the ticket was successfully removed, allowing him to claim his winnings.

Li said he has been buying lottery tickets for the past seven to eight years, using trend analysis as his selection strategy. With this unexpected windfall, he plans to use the prize money to purchase a house.
