The 2023 China (Arxan) Tourism Conference is scheduled to be held from September 2 to September 3 in Arxan City, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 

The event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Xinhua News Agency, and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and was organized by the Cultural and Tourism Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Xinhua News Agency Inner Mongolia branch, the Hinggan League Administrative Office, and the People's Government of Arxan City. 

The conference is expected to welcome over 220 domestic and international participants.

Situated in the northeastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hinggan League's Arxan region is where the vast grasslands of Hulun Buir, Horqin, Xilin Gol, and Mongolia converge, a presenting captivating natural scenery and cultural heritage that has earned the moniker "Northern Gem."

Such military-themed experiences provide firsthand insights into the transformations of China's border defense, nurturing a strong sense of patriotism.
