Recently in Dezhou city, East China's Shandong Province, a truck carrying chickens was involved in a traffic accident, causing them to be stranded. Due to the high density of chicken crates and the hot weather that day, the driver was worried that the chicks would die from dehydration if they remained in the vehicle for too long. Asking for help, the driver dialed the number of fire brigade, who quickly dispatched two vehicles and 12 personnel to the scene.

The local firefighters promptly sprayed water onto the truck to cool it down, and the entire process lasted for 20 minutes. The driver said that there were over 4,000 chicks on board the truck, and if not cooled in time, the accident would result in significant economic losses on him.
