The 11th China Beijing International Magic Carnival and World University Magic Exchange Conference came to an end at Beijing's Changping district on Saturday night.

At the two-day event, magicians from China, the US, South Korea, the Netherlands, and other countries and regions gathered in the capital city to perform various magic shows. Representatives from multiple universities in Beijing also participated in the carnival.

Besides magic shows, the conference also featured a series of events at universities to foster interaction with young students, showcase the vibrant spirit of contemporary university life, and promote the integration of Changping's campus stories, further propelling the magic industry's growth.

Eric Eswin, honorary president of the International Federation of Magic Societies, has been an advisor since the first festival. In a video link, he noted that despite significant global changes, magic has remained constant. He emphasized the importance of blending live performances with online participation and exploring the role of new technology such as augmented reality, computer graphics, and artificial intelligence in enhancing magic experiences.

First launched in Beijing in 2012, the event has become a biennial event in the city.
