A video of three students consulting a foreigner with an English test paper on the subway in South China's Guangdong Province on Monday has sparked widespread discussion on Chinese social media platforms. 

From the video shared by netizens, three students wearing school uniforms can be seen holding an English test paper and asking a foreigner for help. Unexpectedly, the foreigner did not refuse but took the test paper and carefully reviewed it. 

However, as he looked at it, his brow furrowed. Then, he silently took out his phone and started searching for information, reading to the students. Judging from the excited state of the students, it was obvious that the foreigner couldn't help them with that question. 

Netizens found the foreigner's puzzled expression in the video amusing. "Everyone has their own expertise, and English is also a language. Even if it is a foreigner's native language, it doesn't mean they are necessarily proficient in it. Just like us learning Chinese, ordinary people are limited to practical use of the language and may not analyze sentence components," one netizen commented.
