The Second Summit on Music Intelligence, co-hosted by the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), opened recently in Beijing, featuring a "future concert" that combined technology and art.

The summit gathered influential leaders in the fields of music artificial intelligence, music and brain science, and music therapy, as well as representatives from the music industry, to explore the future of music and share the latest advances and trends in technology and industry.

The opening ceremony and future concert were held at the CCOM Opera Hall on October 28 and were hosted by Professor Li Xiaobing, executive chairman of the summit and director of the Department of Music Artificial Intelligence and Music Information Technology at CCOM.

The summit included keynote speeches, seven thematic forums, one parallel satellite session, one roundtable discussion on music artificial intelligence, and awards for various interdisciplinary fields. It also held an electronic music composition contest and an electronic music marathon performance.

The future concert on the opening day was a feast of art and science for the audience. The concert showcased the infinite possibilities of future music with the cross-disciplinary integration of music, artificial intelligence and brain science.
