The 2023 China Digital Art Industry Forum unfolded in Chongqing, offering a platform for in-depth discussions on the synergy between digital art and the cultural tourism sector.

The forum comprised a main conference, two sub-forums, and an online TAB forum, attracting over 30 experts and scholars from governmental bodies, academic circles, cultural institutions, and enterprises from across the country, as well as representatives from over 150 entities to participate in the event.

Wang Boqiao, founder of Digital Art China, predicted that in the next five years digital art would undergo profound integration with cultural tourism, cultural and museum industries, new consumer trends, and technological industries, giving rise to a trillion-dollar industry opportunity centered around spiritual consumption.

Wang predicted that in the future, every city would witness the emergence of a new cultural landmark integrating art and technology. He emphasized the importance of creating regionally distinctive forms of digital art exhibitions, combining historical and cultural elements with digital art to convey unique urban stories.

Yang Xiaoyang, an artist who participated in the event, underscored the unprecedented creative space and potential opened up by digital art at a sub-forum. Yang said that digital art intellectual property (IP) will empower the new economy, providing fresh impetus for various industries and driving innovation and development in both cultural and physical economies.
