From December 13 to 14, extreme weather conditions such as heavy snowfall and blizzards have struck border areas in Xilingol League, North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In response to the extreme weather, the local border management detachment promptly formulated a cold wave warning plan and organized emergency rescue operations by local border outposts overnight.
The Narenbaolage Border Outpost, in collaboration with the local government and traffic management department, used bulldozers to recover 46 vehicles and 56 people within seven hours from Narenbaolage Sumu to Abagaqi. The Bayantuuga Border Outpost police officers rescued a semi-trailer transporting feed for herders and two private cars. After 48 hours of emergency rescue operations, a total of 49 vehicles and 62 people were rescued, and over 300 lost livestock were recovered. Netizens were moved by their dedication and efforts, praising them as "the guardians of the people."
