Thailand's government attaches great significance to the cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of culture and education. With the gradual stabilization of the epidemic, there was an increase in the exchange of foreign students between China and Thailand, showing the strong momentum of educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries, Pasupha Chinvarasopak, Minister Counselor for Science and Technology of the Embassy of Thailand in China said at a Thailand-China cultural exchange event on December 26, 2023. 

The event was held in Beijing, and numerous students and teachers from Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Jiaotong University and Beijing International Studies University were in attendance. 

Chinvarasopak gave a warm welcome to those in attendance. 

This activity aims to build on the friendly relationship between Chinese and Thai students and boost cooperation in the field of education and culture. 

Following the event, teachers and students were engaged in a series of exciting Thai cultural experience activities. The students took part in traditional Thai folk games and tried on traditional Thai costumes. It not only allowed the students and teachers to experience the charm of Thai culture, but also enhanced the understanding with Thai teachers and students.

The traditional Thai cuisine is one of the highlights of the event. This is not only a feast to enjoy, but an opportunity to delve into Thai culture. 

At the end of the event, the Chinese teachers and students said that the event not only gave them a deeper understanding of Thai culture, but also deepened their understanding and appreciation of China-Thailand friendship. They look forward to more such cultural exchange opportunities in the future to promote mutual understanding.
