Six wedding-themed buses in different styles were launched in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region recently. The staff of the public transport group said that they were inspired by a couple who rented a bus for their wedding, which led to the introduction of this service. A bride said that the idea was something new and environmentally friendly.

The interior of the wedding bus is decorated with red balloons, floral arrangements, and red characters of double happiness as well as greetings.

Li Tianbai, a representative from the Baotou Public Transport Group, said that a couple rented their bus for the wedding, which gave them great inspiration to launch this event and decorate six different styles of buses to provide the service for couples who need wedding cars. "Four couples have booked our buses in January, and we keep receiving phone calls every day to inquire about the details of this service," Li said.

A bride surnamed Wang said that in this way the whole family can get together in the same bus and witness the wedding procession. "When my friends found this service, they thought it was innovative and were curious to see what the buses looks like. It's very environmentally friendly as well," the bride said.
