Recently, a girl encountered a tourist carrying a half-meter-tall Terracotta Warrior figurine at the airport of Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and posted a video online, according to media reports on Tuesday. The photographer, who said to be a local, found it very interesting and hadn't expected that there would be people who actually came to Xi'an to buy Terracotta Warriors figurines as souvenirs.
A netizen shared the similar experience in the commentary section about encountering tourists holding a kneeling Terracotta Warrior figurine at the airport. "I asked her why she brought it along and if the figurine was too heavy. She replied that her friend asked her to bring a specialty from Xi'an. And since she didn't have a better idea, she chose to take a Terracotta Warrior figurine," the netizen wrote.
Other netizens commented that they bought figurines of Emperor Qin Shi Huang when traveling in Xi'an and didn't know that there were Terracotta Warrior figurines available for sale. Some netizens also jokingly asked if Terracotta Warriors need to buy plane tickets to fly.
