According to media reports on Tuesday, a pig on a pickup truck ordered by a company was seen running wild on a highway in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province. The truck suddenly changed lanes, causing the pig to be thrown out of the vehicle and roll multiple times on the highway. Then, the pig started wandering in the traffic, posing a great danger to other drivers.

The local police together with the driver surnamed Zhang herded the pig into an emergency lane, tied it up, and promptly removed it from the highway.

Zhang was fined by the police for the illegal act of scattering and abandoning goods on the highway, and was also educated on safe driving knowledge. Netizens commented that the pig remaining unharmed on the highway was lucky and emphasized the importance of safe driving.
