Recently, Yang Binglin, affectionately known as "Gaming Grandpa" by his fans, claimed a Guinness World Record certificate for being the "Oldest Bilibili Gaming Blogger."

Yang is an 88-year-old console gaming blogger who started sharing gaming videos on Bilibili.com four years ago. After retiring in 1996, he found joy in playing table tennis and video games.

Yang started with some small games and later expanded to adventure games like Tomb Raider, World War, Resident Evil, Sniper, and other games. As a result, he often buys game discs and frequently visits computer stores in Luzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing, accumulating over 500 game discs. "After becoming a blogger, I have a sense of honor in my heart. I interact with thousands of children, and I receive their respect and love. The most memorable thing is when the children gave me a PS5 as a gift. I am truly grateful!"

He mentioned that his daily routine is well structured, and even when he faces difficult game challenges, he exercises restraint. When talking about his insights and experiences, Yang emphasized that games could inspire a lot of creativity and advised young children to focus on their work before playing games. "It's best to wait until retirement and play games like me with a plan and whole-hearted dedication," said Yang.
