China's Spring Festival box office surpassed 3 billion yuan ($417 million) as of Monday 12 pm, bringing the country's 2024 box office total to 5.9 billion yuan, making it the world's largest movie market, according to Chinese ticketing platform 'Dengta', owned by Ali Pictures.
