A 13-year-old boy named Zhang Chenhe from Shangqiu, Central China's Henan Province, accompanied by his grandmother, came to a charity breakfast point on Tuesday morning and, along with more than 10 volunteers, made breakfast for about 130 sanitation workers.

The boy also donated 500 yuan ($69.45) of his lucky money to treat the sanitation workers to a meal. According to Zhang, on the first day of the Lunar Chinese New Year, he saw the sanitation workers working hard for the city in the early morning and at late night, so he decided to use part of his lucky money to show his respect to them. Netizens praised Zhang for understanding gratitude and giving back to society at such a young age. "He used practical actions to convey respect, so that we can see the style of young people in the new era," one netizen said.
