The New Zealand Tourism Bureau convened the 2024 Tourism New Zealand convened the 2024 New Zealand Winter Holiday Product Launch recently at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing, aiming to further enhance the country's position among winter travel destinations.
During the event, the New Zealand ambassador to China Grahame Morton emphasized that the winter season presents an excellent opportunity for tourists to unlock many unique experiences in the country.
René de Monchy, chief executive at Tourism New Zealand, stated that through this event, they aim to showcase the beauty of New Zealand's winter landscapes and the richness and uniqueness of winter experiences.
Launching new skiing brochures and showcasing new tourism products will be key to promoting New Zealand as a popular winter destination in the Chinese market, he added.
The event attracted over 30 professionals from the Chinese tourism industry, including tour operators specializing in inbound and outbound travel to New Zealand, representatives from ski resorts, and tourism media outlets.
Additionally, the 2024 winter product promotion plan was announced, with hopes of inviting more Chinese tourists to experience a diverse range of winter activities in New Zealand and discover the unique beauty of the winter season.
