The immersive play True Detective Zhao Gan'e 2, adapted from a popular novel, has started its resident performances at Beijing's 77 Theater. 

Continuing the style of the first show, the second season seeks inspirations from real cases and has created a new immersive experience for audiences. 

In order to build the concept of full immersion, the show upgrades its story plot and stage designs, as well as relations among different roles. The audience will enjoy exclusive music, enter a new time and space isolated from the outside world, and experience an unforgettable memory in the characters' joys and sorrows.

"We have created a new neighborhood in a new era. Seven years have passed. You can understand that police officer Zhao Gan'e has grown up in these seven years. He is one of those just, kind and brave policemen," director Zhang Xiao said.
