The Chinese Cultural Center in Rabat, Morocco held a culture and tourism promotion conference on Monday, to showcase Shanxi's rich cultural and tourism resources to the Moroccan people, promote in-depth cooperation in the tourism field, and help build an internationally renowned cultural tourism destination. It was jointly held by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Network of International Culturalink Entities of China, and the Chinese Cultural Center in Rabat.

Shanxi Governor Jin Xiangjun, Chinese Ambassador to Morocco Li Changlin and many other guests attended the event and delivered speeches. 

Jin welcomed all new and old friends to visit Shanxi and feel the warmth and hospitality of the Shanxi people. He expressed his desire to use the conference as a new starting point to further promote in-depth cooperation in culture and tourism between China and Morocco. 

Li said in his speech that China-Morocco relations are now the strongest they have ever been, and there are many opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation. 

Mustapha Messaoudi, secretary general of the department of youth at the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, said that the event has promoted cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation between China and Morocco.
