As the 24th 5·22 International Biodiversity Day approaches, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company, utilizing the advantages of the State Grid Public Welfare Foundation's platform, has launched the "State Grid Green Ark Program." This public welfare project, centered around the theme "Biodiversity: You and I Participate Together," aims to promote biodiversity protection. It seeks to create a collective effort for biodiversity conservation and to increase public awareness and attention to the protection of natural species. 

It is reported that the "State Grid Green Ark Program" project is the mission and task of the State Grid Corporation of China to empower green development and ensure power supply, and is a key public welfare project that helps protect biodiversity in China. This project was launched in Zhejiang in 2022, with the main habitats of rare species as the protected objects. By constructing a green power supply system in the habitats and surrounding areas, it will provide clean and reliable electricity and digital transformation tools for research and practical work related to biodiversity conservation.

Recently, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company, in collaboration with the local Ecological Environment Bureau, Agriculture and Rural Bureau, and Environmental Protection Volunteer Association, entered local schools to carry out a series of entertaining biodiversity activities, including a competition for collecting biodiversity manuscripts, an exhibition of rare wild animal specimens, and a 3D animal exhibition board experience. Members of the association talked to the students about biodiversity protection, inviting young people to jointly protect the environment and appreciate ecological diversity.
