Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) China announced the signing of an exclusive global songwriting rights agreement with Cheerful Music on May 28. Under this agreement, UMPG China will exclusively represent Cheerful Music's songwriting rights outside the Chinese mainland.
Cheerful Music boasts a skilled music production team and extensive music resources, with a focus on creating original music for the international market. Its catalog includes numerous hit songs such as "Smiling Jianghu (Subject 3)," which has over 50 billion views on TikTok, and other popular tracks like "Summer in a Small Town," "TA SHAN HE," and "BAN SHENG XUE," all of which have topped music streaming platform charts.

Establishing our London branch was a significant strategic move, allowing us to collaborate directly with international artists and songwriters and connect with diverse audiences worldwide.
