A poster exhibition featuring 55 Greek tourism posters spanning almost a century was inaugurated on May 20 in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province. The exhibition titled A century of Greek Tourism through Poster Art includes 55 tourism posters from the late 1920s to recent times and is taking place against the backdrop of the Chengdu Europe Culture Season. 

"From the artistic renderings of the 1920s to the contemporary lens of the 21st century, whether in paint or photograph, in French, English, German, or Russian, the key message of the posters designed and created by some of the most famous Greek artists upon commission by the National Tourism Administration of Greece, echoes the same message through the last 100 years: Greece full of mythical attractions welcomes you all to visit and have a lifetime experience," said Evgenios Kalpyris, Greek Ambassador to China, during the opening ceremony.

Apart from the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation, the exhibition will also be featured in the Tianfu Art Park, the Jianyang Cultural and Sports Centre, and the Fulong Temple of Dujiangyan Scenic Area, for a month.
