The launch ceremony for Beidaihe·Butong Art Town was successfully held at Beijing's 798 Art Zone recently. This innovative project combines cutting-edge art concepts with professional exhibition spaces, merging culture and tourism to create an extraordinary narrative of art. It will be China's first immersive art experience park.
The ceremony showcased the future vision of Beidaihe·Butong Art Town. Beyond contemporary art, the town will feature a wide range of artistic practices and commercial initiatives, providing an immersive visual cultural experience. It will also bring together galleries and institutions from different countries and cultures to meet the diverse needs of the international art market.
The town will also host an exhibition of outstanding graduates from China's top five art academies, exhibiting more than 40 works, including paintings, sculptures, installations, mixed media and new media. The exhibition is scheduled to be held from July 20 to October 31. Upcoming events also include the solo exhibition You're Always On My Mind by artist Zhang Zhanzhan. His work, centered on themes of loneliness, uses soft lines, signature red-black color schemes, and silent yet adorable animal figures to express his artistic vision.
