Audiences can also catch it on streaming platforms Youku and Tencent Video. The series boasts an all-star cast, including Zhu Yawen, Hou Yong, Li Youbin, Du Chun and Wang Luodan.

The 35-episode drama, written by Zhu Xiuhai and directed by Liu Jiacheng, follows a group of talented young pilots embodying the "the spirit of heroic eagles soaring across the seas and the skies" passed down from their predecessors, leading China's carrier-based aircraft fleet to new heights.

As China's first domestic military drama dedicated to aircraft carriers, the drama tells the story of China's first aircraft carrier platform going to sea. The Chinese PLA Navy set up its first carrier-based aircraft test flight team, with Xie Zhenyu and Yu Tao as representatives of the talented young pilots, led by Captain Qin Dadi, a meritorious PLA Navy pilot characterized by rigorous scientific attitude and strong sense of mission.

The team has overcome the world-class challenges of carrier-based aircraft landing and take-off technology. The number of pilots on China's aircraft carriers increased from one to an entire army of navy pilots. Xie and Yu embody the "the spirit of heroic eagles soaring across the seas and the skies" of their predecessors.
