The exhibition features several of Sanchez's designs, which often draw inspiration from Chinese culture and philosophies, as well as Sanchez's memories about China. In 2006, due to her passion for Chinese culture, Sanchez chose Beijing as the city for her first Jewelry store.
Viento sobre el Agua, also known as Wind on the Water, was a necklace created by the artist in 2022. The piece was created in collaboration with Chinese filigree masters using a technique originated in North China's Hebei Province that is considered part of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage. The delicate filigree reveals both aesthetics of roughness and softness, symbolizing the Chinese philosophical virtue of balance between power and gentleness.
Motherland was another necklace that was created by Sanchez in 2011. A red coral stone collected from the island of Taiwan connected to a gold collar to symbolize that a mother is never going to be detached from her children. The two parts have also been given special meaning by the artist since the gold and the red coral symbolize Sanchez's two homes of China and Spain.
Beyond jewelry displays, the show includes a music performance featuring Chinese Kunqu Opera as well as Spanish guitar.
