The Colors of Imperial Textiles and Court Regalia in the Qing Dynasty Exhibition recently opened to the public at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing. Jointly organized by the Palace Museum and the Guardian Art Center, the exhibition showcases nearly 100 rare Qing Dynasty court embroidery and clothing relics, most of which are on display for the first time.
Zhu Hongwen, deputy director of the Palace Museum, pointed out that this exhibition focuses on color, which has rich symbolic meanings in traditional Chinese culture and reflects the integration of multi-ethnic cultures. The exhibition not only displays cultural relics, but also displays the academic research results of the Palace Museum.
The Shenyang Palace Museum, known for its distinctive architectural blend of ethnic Han, Manchu, Mongolian, and Tibetan styles, also contributed to the exhibition. They treat this cooperation as an opportunity to jointly present more wonderful exhibitions in the future and work together to inherit excellent traditional Chinese culture. The exhibition is set to run until September 22.
