Chang'e-6 - China's latest leap of moon exploration - has claimed full success, as the returning capsule of the craft, carrying the first batch of lunar samples collected from the far side of the moon in human history, safely touched down in its designated landing site in the Siziwang Banner, in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Tuesday afternoon at 2:07 pm.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Tuesday called on countries around the world to be more broad-minded toward the development issue, safeguard open market environment and avoid engaging in trade protectionism when addressing the opening plenary of the Summer Davos, in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning Province.

In an exclusive interview with the Global Times, former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir bin Mohamad said that the US seems to like, and also benefits from, provoking confrontation between nations to the point of causing them to go to war against each other, as happened between Ukraine and Russia. 

Since 2023, a new wave of Chinese enterprises going abroad has gained momentum. Insiders told the Global Times that it is precisely in this era of "great overseas expansion" that China has the potential to produce truly "world-class enterprises."
