The artifacts on display include remarkable works by Turkish artists Tulay Musa and Suna Kocal as well as Chinese calligraphy artist Xiao Haiming and ink painting artist Zhou Jinliang. Their works showcase the beauty of calligraphy and marbling art, blending together the rich cultural traditions of Türkiye and China.
In his keynote speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. İsmail Hakkı Musa, Ambassador of Türkiye to China, recalled the historical ties between Türkiye and China through the ancient Silk Road, stressing that the linkage has not merely fostered trade prosperity but also established a deep bond between the two peoples.
"As an embassy, we understand the significance of culture. Politics and economics are important, but culture is the bridge that connects people's hearts and minds, and it is a precious wealth left to us by history," said the ambassador.
Artists from Türkiye and China are telling their own stories at the exhibition, interpreting the charm of culture through their own talents.
