Thai Ambassador to China Chatchai Viriyavejakul said in an interview that the agreement on mutual visa exemption between China and Thailand is one of the many achievements in the development of bilateral ties. The policy will facilitate travel between the two countries.

"I look forward to more Thai tourists visiting China, and I hope that more Chinese tourists will come to Thailand," said Viriyavejakul.

The event has gathered more than 40 Thai and Thai-inspired enterprises to establish a Thai-style market. The festival featured renowned Thai restaurants, showcasing more than 100 kinds of top-quality products. At the venue, visitors can also buy fresh seasonal Thai fruits.

During the festival, the Thai Embassy in China also invited popular Thai movie stars - Wannarot Sonthichai and Yuke Songpaisarn - to the event, enhancing cultural exchange between the young generation of the two countries.
