The unscripted show Brilliant Garden ended on Thursday night with veteran actor Zhang Songwen marking the moment with a ceremony.

The show produced by Mango TV follows Zhang, who rents a place to grow a garden together with his friends. In the past episodes, Zhang, Lin Jiachuan, Zeng Shunxi, Yao Chen and more shared their experiences and life with neighbors in a remote village in Beijing.

Zhang made it clear at the beginning of the show, "Don't be a screenwriter for me" and "My life is not based on a script." Starting from this, the real and sincere atmosphere runs throughout the Brilliant Garden. As a result, Uncle Huang, Aunt Ma, Lao Chen, and Uncle Hu... these ordinary people who work hard to live, enter the garden and share their life and experiences.

"It's really a wonderful thing to get along with people," "Dancing with villagers together was so vital and vivid," "We learned to create experiences and many beautiful fates. My heart is full at this moment," family members and friends of the garden such as Zeng Shunxi, Yao Chen and Wang Yuwen wrote in their last diary entry.

Ma Jiaqi said although life in the garden has come to an end, but life continues, and "we must continue to enjoy life warmly and enthusiastically."
