Hainan Airlines held a press conference in Beijing on July 10 to announce the launch of its new Beijing-Tijuana-Mexico City international route.

The route connects these three cities, not only further promoting economic and cultural exchanges between China and Mexico but also providing more travel options for the travelling public.

There will be two round-trip flights per week, with the outbound flights on Mondays and Fridays and the return flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Mexican Ambassador to China, Jesus Seade Kuri, noted, "This route not only connects the capitals of the two countries but also establishes an aerial bridge that deepens trade, food, cultural, educational, and technological exchanges between North China and Mexico, and promotes two-way tourism."

"The exchanges between China and Mexico date back to 1565, and for 250 years, the Manila Galleon connected our countries. I sincerely hope that this new route by Hainan Airlines will become a Manila Galleon of the new era, soaring high and far, enduring and prosperous," added the ambassador.
