Organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing in collaboration with Raffles City Chongqing, the event offered a unique music experience to the audience.

In his opening speech at the concert, Consul General Fabio Schina underlined that since its foundation 10 years ago, the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing has always dedicated primary importance to all facets of cultural diplomacy.

The duo, consisting of violinist Mauro Tortorelli and pianist Angela Meluso, enchanted the audience, thanks to the wide musical repertoire proposed that ranged from the works of Niccolò Paganini to Ennio Morricone, and the soundtracks of famous films such as Nuovo Cinema Paradiso by Giuseppe Tornatore and La Strada by Federico Fellini.

In closing, the Consul General highlighted how music promotes mutual understanding.
