In midsummer, under the scorching sun, the city is enveloped in sweltering heat. As the day's hustle and bustle fades, the night quietly awakens with a different kind of energy. Snack stalls, night markets, and other activities of the night economy flourish in the cover of darkness.

On the pedestrian street along the Xin'an River in Jiande, East China's Zhejiang Province, various stalls line the street, with bright lights and the hum of voices filling the air. The smoke from barbecues, the coolness of icy drinks, and the aroma of snacks blend into a symphony of summer nights, attracting both citizens and tourists to enjoy this rare moment of coolness and comfort.

As the demand for electricity rises, the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company dispatches its personnel for night patrols to ensure electrical safety. Clad in uniforms and equipped with professional testing tools, they conduct comprehensive inspections of power facilities around the night market. From street corner transformers to complex wiring, no detail is overlooked to ensure every component is functioning optimally.

During their inspections, special attention is given to the protection of power facilities. The personnel carefully monitor the area around transformers, ensuring no debris accumulates that could hinder heat dissipation and pose safety risks. Exposed wires are reinforced to prevent damage from human or natural factors. Additionally, high-tech equipment such as infrared thermometers is employed to monitor the temperature of key components in real-time, addressing potential overheating issues promptly. Beyond hardware maintenance, the power personnel also engage in educational outreach, distributing brochures on electrical safety to night market vendors and patiently explaining the importance of protecting power equipment.

In the vibrant summer night, the power personnel safeguard the city's electricity supply, providing a solid foundation for the thriving night economy and making the city's nights brighter and warmer.
