Recently, in Xuebu town, Jintan district, Changzhou city, Jiangsu Province, State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company used a combination of no power failure operations and medium- and low-voltage power generation vehicles to carry out the reconstruction of the 10 kV Xuebu Line. This new operational modality not only improves the power supply capacity, but also ensures that the surrounding residents will not experience any power failure during the construction period.

Based on the working principle of "transfer + electrification + power generation," the company aims to ensure "zero power failure for maintenance and less power failure." Considering that the work site of Xuebu green community is in the central area of Xuebu town, and the surrounding residents have a large continuous power supply demand, the company coordinated multiple departments to carry out a site survey in the early stages. After a multi-party coordination and consideration, one medium-voltage power generation vehicle and two low-voltage power generation vehicles were combined to transform the distribution network. This approach marks the first time this operational mode has been used locally for power grid upgrades.

If the traditional "stop-and-belt combination" construction method is adopted, the capacity increase in the platform area of Xuebu green community would require the shutting down of 5 transformers, resulting in a power outage for surrounding users. However, through the combination of medium- and low-voltage power generation vehicles, the impact of maintenance and outage can be minimized, and the impact of grid construction on power supply users can be eliminated, while improving power supply capacity. This method ensures that important users maintain normal electricity consumption throughout the construction period.

Next, the company will continue to adhere to the concept of "no power outage is the best service," to promote the safe and standardized development of power generation operations. Additionally, they will leverage power generation operations to improve power supply reliability and people's livelihood, improve the level of power supply service, and achieve "zero perception" of power outages among the public.
