Multiple listed Chinese technology and automation companies are enhancing research and development of humanoid robot and related products, as the field has the potential to deliver substantial returns to investors.

Experts said that the demand for humanoid robots in the service, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors is expected to grow significantly in China, and the market for humanoid robots is poised for expansion.

Wuxi Longsheng Technology Co in East China's Jiangsu Province recently said on investor relations platform that the company is collaborating with local authorities and relevant research institutes in Wuxi to explore practical application of humanoid robots in manufacturing scenarios.

Related robotic products are currently in the trial operation and optimization stage, the company stated. They added that further enhancements to the humanoid robot's control system will be made to accommodate more complex production scenarios.

Shenzhen-based Jwipc Technology Co said on Wednesday that they have launched controller product targeting mobile robot, robotic arms and humanoid robot. The controller is equipped with NVIDIA Isaac platform and is capable of offering high-performance controller solution for various intelligent robots.

With the fast development trend of integrating AI technology into robotics industry, humanoid robot is embracing mass production as demand increases, analysts said.

"China boasts a well-developed manufacturing system with extensive production experience, making it highly competitive in the manufacturing and assembly of humanoid robot components," Wang Peng, an associate research fellow at the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, told the Global Times on Thursday.
