A Peking University freshman spent 15 days riding more than 1,300 kilometers to embark on his university journey.

The student, named Ding Wenxin, practiced some must-have repair skills and solutions to unexpected challenges. During this long-distance ride, Ding overcame challenges such as heatstroke, heavy rain, and flat tires, but he never gave up. "The experience has taught me to be tough, which I believe will become a valuable trait for myself," Ding said.

In the perspective of Ding's parents, their son's growth is just like this thousand-mile ride in which he strives relentlessly until he succeeds and meets his goals.

In addition to praising Ding, many netizens humorously commenting online that they would even be willing to walk to Peking University, as long as their children were accepted by the university, one of the most renowned in China.
