Xi'an, September 19, 2024 - Li Zhenguo, founder and president of LONGi, met with Mohammad Abunayyan, founder and chairman of Saudi International Power and Water Company (ACWA Power), in Northwest China's Xi'an, where LONGi's headquarter locates. The two leaders engaged in deep discussions regarding their ongoing cooperation in the renewable energy sector.

This meeting not only marks the further strengthening of their partnership but also underscores LONGi's strong commitment to the Saudi and global market. Dennis She, LONGi Vice President, and Ma Jun, LONGi Hydrogen President, also shared their opinions in the meeting.

During the talks, Li Zhenguo emphasized that LONGi, as a global leader in green energy technology, remains dedicated to creating low-cost clean energy for the world. The company has developed comprehensive products and solutions in green power and green hydrogen that support global zero-carbon development, offering more sustainable energy solutions to both Saudi Arabia and the international market. Through its partnership with ACWA Power, LONGi continues to uphold its philosophy of clean production and green manufacturing. LONGi's technical innovations, product advantages, and service solutions have contributed to several of ACWA Power's key projects, such as the Neom Phase I and II photovoltaic power stations, the Sudair photovoltaic power station, and the photovoltaic power station in Saudi's Red Sea New City. These efforts have been highly recognized by ACWA Power and are playing a significant role in driving Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 forward.

In June this year, at the 17th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (SNEC) Conference and Exhibition held in Shanghai, LONGi and ACWA Power signed a Framework Agreement. This agreement signifies a further deepening of cooperation in the green energy sector. During the discussions, Li Zhenguo highlighted Saudi Arabia's tremendous potential in the renewable energy market as a key player in the global energy transition. He reiterated LONGi's commitment to leveraging its advanced photovoltaic technology and innovative solutions to contribute to Saudi Arabia's green development.

Mohammad Abunayyan congratulated both parties on their successful collaboration across multiple projects and the signing of the framework agreement. He emphasized that ACWA Power, as a global leader in power generation, seawater desalination, and green hydrogen, is committed to driving decarbonization and sustainable development. ACWA Power will continue to work closely with LONGi to explore new pathways for renewable energy development, expand its renewable energy footprint globally, and jointly promote the global energy transition, achieving a shared vision of green development.

Looking ahead, LONGi and ACWA Power will continue to collaborate closely, with a focus on deep technological cooperation and innovation. Together, the two sides will explore and expand the renewable energy market, striving to deliver cleaner and more efficient energy solutions and further advance the global energy transition and the growth of renewable energy.
